HA!! At last a new deviation! Almost two months to upload it! And now it is really a new drawing, not something made three years ago lol. I think I never made such an elabored drawing with so many details in the scenery. Now I hope you understand why it took me so much time to add it to my gallery. I started it in October I Think. At first I just wanted to try new poses for Ryu. Then I aimed to add some ennemies that Ryu has just killed. I was really satisfied by Ryu's pose, moreover I was no longer motivated to finish the other drawing of Ryu I started a few time before (reference to this : [link]). So I decided to draw the scenery for this drawing instead of the other one. I knew that it would be so lohng de draw each element of the scenery but I did not imagined that it would last to December o_O. I'm really relieved that it is at last over. I don't know if I will have the courage to make another drawing like this one.

The title is soft but it is enough to describe my drawing ^^
When I saw the first Ninja Gaiden II demo (which occurs in Venise), I absolutely wanted to draw Ryu with his scythe, he had so much class. Maybe I will draw something for the claws. I also enjoyed how gore was the game and the fact that the corpses do not disappear after battle. It reminded me Drakan, an old PC/PS2 game where I used to play with the ennemies' limbs scratched. The heroin was called Rynn and her dragon Arok, remember it?? Well I wonder if we could do the same thing in Ninja Gaiden II XD.
Notice that Ryu Hayabusa's outfit has been a little bit modified (the helmet, his bracelets and mittens, etc.). I prefered the original outfit, easier to draw ^^.
The ninja of the black spider clan were hard to draw, it used to be simplier before lol. But I don't refuse difficulty...

So far, I would like to thank you all for all the comments and faves you left on my deviations, to my eyes it has more worth than all the pageviews which are just numbers finally. However, I'm gonna be honnest: with all the time I spend on this drawing I alos hope many comments and many faves . I really gaved the best of me for this deviation and I don't want to think that it was just a wast of time...
